5.1. Login to Jupyter Scientific Computing Platform¶
The scientific computing platform used in the work team is certified by China Science and Technology Cloud. For newly registered users, please read the instructions here carefully for first time use.
5.1.1. Begin a login¶
To use this platform for the first time, you need to understand the certification process. The steps are as follows.
The first step¶
Open a web browser and enter the address of Jupyter: https://pygis.igadc.cn Opening the interface will display as shown in Fig. 5.1 ,

This page provides a brief explanation of the scientific computing platform, including introduction, platform core and matters needing attention.
The second step¶
As shown in Fig. 5.2 , click Sign in with Technology Cloud Identity Authentication for login.

5.1.2. Login method¶
After clicking ‘Sign in with Technology Cloud Identity Authentication’ to log in, the interface will display as shown in Fig. 5.3 .

5.1.3. Login with WeChat¶
System authentication through Tech Cloud Identity can be useful in a variety of ways. The various open authentication methods are similar in process and can be used on a case-by-case basis.
Here is an introduction to the login process using WeChat information.
Login steps¶
To log in to Jupyter using the “WeChat Login Method”, follow the steps below:
In Fig. 5.3 , click on the second item Log in with wechat .
Use WeChat “Sweep” to authorize login, e.g. Fig. 5.4 .

After successful code scanning the web interface will appear as Fig. 5.5 , and at the same time the cell phone will display as Fig. 5.6 shown.

Click to confirm login.

Supplementary user information¶
If you are a newly registered user, the user information supplement screen will appear after successful login, as shown in Fig. 5.7 . Fill in your email address, click Send Captcha, and copy this captcha in your email address. Fill in all the information and click Save.
Note
Currently, it is only supported for internal use by the cooperation team, and the account needs to be opened using E-mail as a voucher. Pay attention to setting up the E-mail information corresponding to the account in the Science Cloud.

After clicking Save, the interface will jump directly to the screen as shown in Fig. 5.8 .

Personal information can be further edited as shown in Fig. 5.9 , and then click Save.

5.1.4. Sign in to Jupyter using the China Technology Cloud Pass¶
The China Science and Technology Cloud account is generally used by units affiliated to the Chinese Academy of Sciences. You can log in to the Jupyter scientific computing platform using the following methods.
Enter your account and password on the login interface, click confirm login, as shown in Fig. 5.10 .
